My friends and I just setup a Windows 2003 Server yesterday, for a school project. It turns out that it’s got nice setup wizards to customize your server for its intended purpose. It runs pretty ok even on a Duron with 256 MB RAM. So far so good. We had a slight BSOD problem with the 8$ network card that we got but that’s it.
The project is aboot setting up an electronic voting system, from the ground up – gathering requirements, design documentation, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, bla bla bla. Anyway, it will support systematic management of voting rights by groups, proposal of new polls, vote forging, etc.
Just kidding about the vote forging part.
